WCCO Belting Celebrates National Manufacturing Day with Student Tours
In advance of National Manufacturing Day on October 5, WCCO Belting opened its doors to 275 area high school students to provide tours and a behind-the-scenes look inside the production facility on October 3. The tours were coordinated by the City of Wahpeton.
Students who attended the tours had the opportunity to see first-hand how the company creates custom-built rubber belts for the agriculture, light industrial, construction, sand and gravel, packaging and recycling industries.
Tours were led by members of the WCCO Belting leadership and production teams and included hands-on activities related to the belt-making process.
