Primary Objectives of Position

To maintain a high level of understanding of how business processes impact the use of all implemented information systems. To track all technology trends of core information systems and advise direct supervisor and leadership on strategies for efficient, automated, and effective business process implementations. To ensure stakeholder training and engagement for implemented information systems. To be the organizational subject matter expert regarding implemented information systems with a customer-first focus on solutions.

Major Areas of Accountability 

  1. Assist in the planning, advising, implementing, and maintaining of managed information systems (i.e., ERP, ECM, CRM).
  2. Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and information system performance.
  3. Maintains knowledge of external technical trends, developments, and evolving industry standards to information systems.
  4. Assists in managing system performance of critical software solutions to ensure that the systems work as intended, perform consistently, and maintain reliability.
  5. Research, advocate, implement and document leading-edge technology to improve information systems’ performance, end-user engagement, and functionality.
  6. Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
  7. Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for use in development or information system upgrades
  8. Advocate, emphasize, and participate in the safety, wellness, and ISO 9001 certification culture by knowing, following, and enforcing all policies and regulations.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned or required. Complies with company, department, and section policies and procedures as applicable.
     
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating systems in multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tasking operating systems environments.
  • A generalist technology background
  • Understanding of business process design, automation, and implementation
  • Orientation towards rapid delivery and adhering to a demanding schedule

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
